Turn a PDF into an editable Word file with real text and tables.

How to convert a PDF to Word

  1. Choose a PDF file.
  2. Choose whether to keep each PDF page on its own page and whether to include pictures.
  3. Select Convert to Word and download the .docx file.

Common questions

Is the text really editable?

Yes. Text comes across as real Word text, and tables that line up in columns become Word tables.

What about charts and complex layouts?

Charts drawn as graphics cannot become editable Word charts, so they do not carry over. Pictures can be included as images. Pages with several columns may come out in the wrong order, so check the file.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

No. A scan is only a picture of the page, so there is no text to convert. Text recognition (OCR) is not included yet.
